World Health Organization Said:
“Describing the situation as a pandemic does not change WHO’s assessment of the threat posed by this coronavirus. It doesn’t change what WHO is doing, and it doesn’t change what countries should do.”
What is a Pandemic?
A pandemic is a disease epidemic that has spread across a large region; for instance multiple continents.
What is an Epidemic?
An epidemic is the rapid spread of infectious disease to a large number of people in a given population within a short period of time, usually two weeks or less.
Summary
It is a term for something we are already aware of and nothing has changed. It means that Corona Virus is a fast spreading flu that is present in multiple continents.
